Beccy is awarded a fellowship by the MND Association

Huge congratulations to Beccy who has been awarded the Lady Edith Wolfson Non-Clinical Research Fellowship by the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. This fellowship programme aims to attract and develop the careers of outstanding young Clinical and Non-Clinical researchers in order to create the future scientific leaders in the field of MND Research. Beccy plans to use super-resolution techniques to characterise the differences between protein aggregates in post-mortem ALS patient tissue. She will combine this information with knowledge of how the disease developed in each case, to identify disease-specific aggregate “strains”, and investigate their suitability as early prognostic markers.

We are all very proud that Beccy has been awarded such a prestigious fellowship and it is testament to her hard work and scientific ability.
