Attendance at the Target ALS conference in Boston

As recipients of a Target ALS consortium grant, we had the opportunity to present our latest work on ALS at the Target ALS annual meeting in Boston.

At the meeting, Gian Gaetano Tartaglia presented his work on the development of aptamers, Jenna Gregory presented her studies using them in tissue, and Mathew spoke about how they are using them for single-molecule detection. The consortium were introduced by our US member, Dr Neil Shneider.

There was also time for a catch-up over some drinks in Boston, some running along the Charles River, and some sightseeing in Cambridge.
